  • THE SALVATION ARMY 

The Salvation Army offers energy assistance on behalf of the Tanner Operation Round-Up program. Members of the co-op who live in any of the three service areas of North Bend, Anderson Island and Ames Lake, Carnation and Redmond could be eligible for assistance.   • PIERCE COUNTY

Pierce County Community Action Agency provides assistance with heat bills to low income households that are income eligible. This agency provides assistance to Pierce County residents that live OUTSIDE the city limits of Tacoma. If you live inside the city limits of Tacoma please call the M.D.C. at (253) 572-5557.

For general information regarding the availability of funds please call (253) 798-3800. This is a recorded message line that is updated as funds become available or are depleted.

You do not need to be past due or shut off to qualify for assistance.

To make an appointment or to see if you qualify please call 1-253-798-4328. This line is open 7 days a week when appointments are availabe. Appointments are booked up to two weeks in advance. If all of the appointments have been filled you will need to call as early as possible the next day.

If your heat source has been disconnected or if your primary heat source is oil, propane or wood and you have less than 10 days supply please call (253) 798-3590. Please do not call this number unless your heat source has been disconnected.

Energy Assistance appointments may be made thru the automated phone line OR on the online scheduling web page ONLY (there are NO walk-in appointments.) The automated phone line is available 24 hrs per day, 7 days per week, in English and Spanish. (253) 517-2263. Have a pencil and paper ready to write down appointment date & time & confirmation number. Special instructions on the phone line for homebound people and those who are shut off.   • NORTH & EAST KING COUNTY

Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Shoreline & Carnation

To make an appointment for LIHEAP or PSE HELP go online at hopelink.org/energy or call 425-658-2592. The appointment system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If all appointments are full, new appointments are opened Mondays at 9am.  www.hopelink.org
