Tanner Electric Cooperative (TEC) has many annual filing requirements each year. The following information is required to be posted for public viewing:
Fuel Mix Disclosure
RCW 19.29A.060 requires TEC to disclose the types of fuel sources that were used in the generation of electricity. TEC is a full requirements customer of Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), meaning TEC does not generate any power and relies entirely on BPA to meet load requirements.
No Coal Attestation
WAC 194-40-300 requires TEC to attest by June 1, 2027, and each year thereafter, that the utility’s retail electric load in the prior calendar year did not include a coal-fired generated resource. The following link provides documentation of attestation:

Energy Resource Plans
RCW 19.280.030 requires TEC to make public its Resource Plan. A utility with less than 25,000 members must create a Resource Plan that (a) estimates loads for the next five and ten years, (b) enumerates the resources that will be maintained and/or acquired to serve those loads, and (c) explains why the resources were chosen. As a full requirements customer of BPA, TEC is obligated to follow BPA’s fuel mix which is mostly from hydro. TEC’s Resource Plan is available through the link below:
